3 Immune Boosting Smoothies

Smoothies are a great way to get a quick and tasty boost of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential nutrients, and if there's anything anybody knows about me it's that I LOVE smoothies!

Smoothies are packed with health benefts such as keeping you full for longer, improve your digestion, detox your body and boost your immunity, and the more healthy leafy greens and antioxidant-packed fruits you blend, the more benefits, but the best thing about smoothies is that they are DELICIOUS!

So below I am sharing with you some of my favorite smoothie recipes that I make all the time and I promise you the kids will love them too!

Liquid Sunshine

This one will help beat the winter blues and boost your immune system to prevent you from getting sick. Its good to make this if you feel like you're about to get sick, however, if you're already sick, this smoothie is a natural cough remedy and will soothe your throat. 🍍 The main ingredient in this smoothie is pineapple! Studies show that pineapples reduce cough symptoms 5 times faster than over the counter cough syrup. Pineapples have numerous powerful healing properties, it is packed with vitamin C and antioxidants and it helps fight infections. Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain (this is what makes your tongue tingly) and it has a healing antibiotic effect when ingested and boosts your immune system.


Tumeric power Ginger root (to taste) 1 apple 1 banana 1 cup papaya 2 cups pineapple Hemp seeds (for protein) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 cup aloe vera (natural probiotic + detox) Coconut water for liquid (great for dry cough +packed with natural electrolytes) 1 tbsp raw honey (antiseptic)

Hulk Green Smoothie

Packed with dark leafy greens and arugula to give a kick of flavor and kick away the fu and cold by strengthening your immune system.

With flu season here, prevention is always better than cure. So we really need to start packing up in Vitamin C, probiotic-rich foods and immune-boosting nutrients so here is a great smoothie recipe that you can add to your morning routine which will help your immune system protect you, detox your body and also give you the energy to last the whole day!!!


2 cups spinach (has more vitamin C than orange) 1 cup kale ½ cucumber ½cup arugula (strange I know! But trust me, this is the best part! Key lime squeezed Ginger (to taste) Green tea or coconut water for added electrolytes (for the liquid instead of water or milk) 2 kiwis (more vitamin C than an orange and hide the kale flavor) ¼ cup blueberries Tsp Flax Seeds Tsp hemp seeds

Immune Booster Beets Smoothie

This one is my absolute favorite. whenever I'm having a bad day I make the smoothie because the color is so beautiful and uplifting. Color is a strong indication of antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory properties contained by fruit or vegetable.


1 Mango

Ginger to taste

1 apple

1 cup kale

1/4 cranberries

1/4 raw beetroot

juice of 1/2 lemon

1 cup green tea

1/3 cucumber

1 tsp raw homey
